1. April T.
“April was amazing!!! I have 2 big dogs that aren’t to friendly to strangers. They love other dogs but not people. I went by for a meet and greet and to check compatibility. None of the big fancy kennels in the area come close to the services and attention April provides. Both my dogs took to April almost instantly. April and her dog Maggie were extremely inviting and friendly. My dogs have special feeding instructions which she had no problems with. April is definitely my go to dog sitter for now on and she even watches my mom’s dog now too. I would recommend her to anyone who worries as much about my dogs wellbeing as I do. Don’t think twice book now if there is any availability”

5. Nikki S.

6. Monika W.
“Including the meet and greet, Melody has been at Monika’s three times. Each time has been a great experience. Leaving my fur baby in a loving and caring home where she is treated like family is important to me. Monika’s fenced in backyard makes it extra special for Melody who likes to roam around outside and explore. Whether you are new to Rover or not, I highly recommend Monika! There is nothing better than knowing your fur baby is being taken care of in a loving home by someone so caring and understanding of dogs.”
7. Eastin B.
About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and got a husky mix puppy last year who just turned one. I work from home full time and have a backyard the size of a dog park that is fenced in and available for dogs to just dog out. My dog is extremely friendly and loves making new friends. All are welcome! I work from home full time so will be under constant supervision and will be taken on 1-3 walks a day depending on my meetings and the dogs overall energy levels. They will have access to the backyard at all times and are allowed on any of the furniture. If okay they will be spoiled with treats but also if they need any medications or diet restrictions I will make sure those rules are followed! I’m very active so go on walks or runs often and have so many toys for them in the backyard.
8. Rhianna H.
“Rhianna, loves and cares for animals like they are her own! She has the magic touch when it comes to animals. My cat Leo who doesn't love new people loved her instantly! I feel completely comfortable leaving my animals in the hands of Rhianna!”
9. Naomi D.
“Naomi is so sweet and caring with my dog, Harper, and Harper loves getting to spend time with her! She does a great job managing my dog’s anxious tendencies as well as her hyper behaviors when needed. She is extremely reliable. I would highly recommend her to anyone!”
10. Claire H.
“Claire watched my 3.5 year old golden retriever at my home while I was out of town one weekend and I had complete peace of mind that my baby was being taken well cared for. My dog absolutely loves Claire and she does a great job making sure she gets taken outside often and goes on walks. I would put Claire at the top of my list to watch my dog again!”
11. Tisha S.
“Tisha did a fantastic job caring for our high energy puppy! We were so happy to pick up a very content, and very sleepy, puppy each evening. We would highly recommend her!”
12. Carissa M.
“Carissa took great care of my pup! Sasha was able to play with Carissa’s sweet dogs all day while I was at work :)”
13. Patrice B.
“I’m originally from New York so whenever I go home to visit family, Patty watches my two cats for me. She does their litter boxes and feeds them their wet and dry food twice a day and hangs out with them. She is the most trustworthy person I know and there is no one else I’d want watching my babies but her!”
14. Marrin S.
“Marrin was one of the first employees we hired when opening our new doggy daycare in Richmond, Va. It was clear from the moment we sat down to interview Marrin that she was a compassionate and responsible animal lover who always puts the needs of the animals first. Dogs are drawn to her gentle, calm, demeanor and she has an intuitive sense of each dogs spirit. Marrin is very trustworthy and, although she has moved on to further her education, we would take her back in an instant if she ever comes back to Richmond. Hire Marrin to care for your fur baby and you will NOT be disappointed!”
15. Caitie C.
About: I've taken care of dogs since college, when I became an in-house dog sitter for professors over breaks and holidays. I was referred to other local dog owners through professors and colleagues and stayed busy with dogsitting for years. I do have experience with older dogs with medications and recent surgeries as well as untrained dogs. I am new(ish) to the Wilmington area and am excited to keep meeting cute doggos through Rover! Cats are cool too :) I work full time M-F from about 8am-4pm. I can potentially use my lunch break to go let the dog(s) have a midday pee break as long as it’s not too far away. We live in a house with an unfenced backyard, right next to a great park and beautiful, quiet walkable neighborhood in general. I loooove going on long walks if the dog is up for that. Depending on what you’re comfortable with, I’m also open to going to parks & exploring new areas to sniff 😂
16. Logan B.
“Logan is 100% an animal lover. She has spent years working with the animal rescue league and now is a proud parent of 2 adorable dogs. She makes sure she brings them EVERYWHERE she goes and always has what she needs to properly care for them. Great dog mom and great dogs!!!”
17. Kyle T.
About: I've grown up with dogs my entire life. I've taken care of small, large, young, and old dogs in my household and will treat yours as my own. All dogs deserve love and care. I'm here when you're away. I love spending time around animals. I currently do not have a puppy and so this is also a way for me to spend time with doggos until I have one of my own :) It's important for dogs as well as their owners to trust the care that is being provided. Providing a safe and enjoyable experience is a top priority.
18. Sandy G.
“Sandy is absolutely amazing with my pup Callie! She is always so responsive and flexible with timing for pick up and drop off. Callie always has a good time playing at her house! And she sends lots of pictures to keep me updated throughout the day! Definitely recommend!”
19. Taylor S.
“Taylor is my next-door neighbor who I’ve known all her life. She has taken loving care of several of her own dogs as well as my many dogs (and cats) from time to time over the years. She has also cared for other dogs in the neighborhood. Taylor loves all animals and I believe she would be a great and trustworthy pet caregiver and dog walker!”
20. Bobby L.
“Bobby is super responsible and down-to-earth. He has taken care of my 5-year-old cat, Mateo, multiple times over the past 2 years. He is excellent at taking care of Mateo's litter box, food, and water. Bobby is gentle and loves to play with Mateo too! I've also seen how much care and attention he gives to his own dog, Murray. Their house is a calm, safe space for dogs with sidewalks on the road and plenty of space in the backyard to run around. Plus, Murray is so sweet and cuddly!”
