About: Hi there, my name is Katelyn, and I am a UGA educated wildlife sciences major, who’s worked with all kinds of animals throughout the years. Here’s a quick list of my qualifications: 31 years of pet ownership and care of all kinds of animals Former Zoo Atlanta zookeeper Former Staff Supervisor at Humane Society of Morgan County Animal Care Tech II at the University of Georgia Non-human Primate lab Animal Husbandry at Sandy Creek Nature Center Over 5 years in the pet industry with aquarium products manufacturers I have worked with animals from primates and large, exotic animals, to dogs and cats of all shapes, sizes and ages, to birds, fish and reptiles. I am also a single mom to a 12 year old girl who loves animal as much as I do. On a single person income, I am looking to make a few extra bucks, and spend some more time around animals that I’ve sorely missed. We love them all, from scaled and feather to furry and fluffy, please don’t hesitate to reach out! I do work a 9-5, so I am able to come by after 5pm to feed/walk/check in, etc. Weekends are available unless otherwise stated. We're also welcome to boarding! I'm happy to accomodate animals of all needs and levels, whether in my home or yours. I always approach animals with the understanding that I am a stranger to them (most of the time), and appreciate that they may be fearful. I have a 1 acre yard that is currently unfenced (soon to be rectified). However, I am very comfortable taking boarding dogs out for regular potty breaks, walks, playtime and exercise as needed.

“This was our first experience with boarding the pups. We were nervous and didn’t think we could find someone to care about them and treat them the way we do. Josh and Kerith exceeded all expectations. My dogs were happy and well taken care of. I received multiple updates per day along with pictures. They even have a dog friendly/accessible pool. That’s where my lab spent most of the week. If you want your dogs to have their own vacation while you’re away on yours, send them to Josh and Kerith.”

“Nancy was really great with our two mini goldendoodles. They even came back cleaner then when we brought them to her! And very happy- a huge difference from when picking them up from a kennel. She was very communicative and shared photos and videos of our pups playing. She also has the sweetest dog named Jasper with not a single aggressive characteristic and we felt bad because of our slightly bullying boy doodle. Her house is located in a very pastoral area with a very large grassy area in which the dogs could safely run around. Her house was also very clean with lots of dog toys around. Per place for dogs to play and be happy. Overall, very happy with Nancy and we would definitely ask her to take our dogs again.”

“Jasmine was awesome! She was definitely the best sitter I have ever used. I have an epileptic dog that requires meds 3 times a day and she never missed a dosage. She was super sweet with the dog and he definitely had a blast while there. He seemed super happy with her. Her communication was excellent and she sent lots of pictures and updates every day. Would highly recommend to anyone even if you have a dog that has special needs. Could not be more happy with her service.”

“We really enjoyed Joey! He and his wife are the most precious people!! Very inviting and warm. I love how they treated Harley and I could tell they are experienced. I read other reviews that Joey can even teach your dog certain training techniques and sure enough....our dog does better with walking on a leash! I will definitely use Joey again!! ?”
