About: I’ve had dogs in my house when I was growing up, so I know how to take care of dogs and care for their specific needs! I have also watched my friends and families dogs when they were out of town, so I have experience caring and watching others dogs! I am a student at Flagler College! I also play lacrosse at Flagler College, but I do have off days and time during the day when i’m not at class or practice to watch and care for an animal! My yard is fenced in and I have a cat. My cat gets along with other dogs and cats! My house is one story but has alot of space for a pet!

“Marti is THE person I call when I'm planning a trip. Not only are my pets well cared for, but they're actually in better hands than mine! Marti treats my babies and my home like her own. I trust her completely. Having her stay with my pets allows me to leave town without worrying at all. Her energy is so deep and soulful, mixed with a light-heartedness, and I know it's a big part of why my pets and I love having her around! She's just an amazing person, and is MAGICAL with animals. Marti has helped me care for my elderly, bossy and picky cat, George for many years now. She's patient with him when he's nauseous, never complains when he wakes her up at 4 am, keeps him out of trouble, and knows when he needs a snuggle on the couch. And she never makes me feel like a weirdo when I give her my high-maintenance tips or tricks for feeding my picky boy. She rolls with it, honors my requests, and usually has her own trick up her sleeve too! Marti also was the person who ended up spending the last few days of my dog's life with him. We didn't know how bad it was in advance (of course), but he took a downward turn the morning that I left town. We had no idea this would be the end. But in hindsight, I think he was in better hands with Marti. I would have been a mess, but Marti stayed calm and solution-oriented til the very end. She connected with the vet and coordinated his visits, consulted with me multiple times a day, contacted her vet tech friends in the states to get additional advice, and even put out a request to the island pet community to find supplies and meds available. She's so connected, it was amazing to see how she drummed up supplies and support for my boy. Her hard work and calm energy kept him comfy and loved in his final days. She even coordinated his burial and gave him a special send-off on my behalf. I will be forever grateful.”
