About: Hello! 👋 I want to note my prices are low because: a) This isn’t my “business,” so no need to break your bank... b) I love dogs, and I know times are tough, and I know a lot of dogs don't do well in kennels, so I thought I'd help others who need a wonderful home-away-from-home for their dogs (one family at a time) at a rate I think is fair... c) I recently lost my dog as I note below 😢 and I’m not emotionally ready to adopt or foster yet…but from childhood till now, I’ve always had dogs by my side, and I love the energy and spirit of having a dog around. 👉 NOTE: I am looking for the right fit. Unfortunately, I am not open to high-energy dogs that need a lot of exercise or constant play. A nice dog that needs a comfortable, safe, calm, caring place is ideal. Not looking for any drama or issues, just fellow dog lovers who need a helping hand and want to know their dog is in a great place without worry. Any questions, please let me know. I think local kennels are great, but I understand a lot of dogs don’t do well in them, get anxiety, don’t get attention, don't like nonstop barking, get sick, etc., so I’m happy to provide a safe, comfortable, beautiful, and loving place for your family member(s). My house is spacious, comfortable, clean, stress-free and 100% dog-friendly 🐾 -- plus I always keep it perfectly cool, even when it’s 125 outside! ☀️🌡️ I have a real grass yard for them, waterproof laminate wood floors and pet proof carpeting — so while beautiful, I have NO worries about inevitable mishaps 😅 — and all dogs have always been welcome here and on the furniture, including couches and beds. 🛋️🛏️ My yard is fully walled from front to back so there’s no worry of an adventurous dog making an escape (or coming in). I have a pool, but it can be completely blocked off if necessary. I will only take in one family's dogs at a time, so there are no issues, and they will receive all of my attention. 🧡 I work from home and am my own boss, so I’ll be here for your dog and make sure they’re happy, cared for and comfortable. I am able and willing to FaceTime, send pictures and videos while your pet is here as well so you can rest assured while you're away. 🐾📸 The Collie in the photos was my most recent dog of 12 years. She passed away earlier this year and I’m not ready to commit emotionally to another dog of my own or foster yet. So, I thought this would be a win-win situation as I love dogs and would love to help others who are looking for a great place to let their dog enjoy when they can't be there. 🤗🐶 I know how hard it is to leave your dog and I want to give your dog a wonderful home-away-from-home when you can’t take them with you. 🏡❤️🐕 As I work from home and am my own boss, I am able to be flexible and present for your dog. I will ensure your pet feels happy, safe and secure. I can easily provide regular updates via FaceTime, photos and videos, so you can rest assured your furry family member is in good hands! In my home, your pet’s safety, trust, and comfort are my utmost priorities. My home is pet-optimized with waterproof laminate wood floors and pet-proof carpet, alongside a fully walled yard for secure outdoor fun. I believe in clear, open communication, providing regular updates with FaceTime, photos and video, so you can see your furry family member enjoying their stay. Here, your pet will be in a safe, stress-free haven.
9. Beth P.
“We’ve been on the hunt for a dog sitter to our special needs deaf cattle dog. Beth was super patient getting Norm to warm up to her and Bogart. Her yard is great for the pups to play and get the zoomies out. Thanks again for showing norm so much love. We’ll definitely be using Beth (and Bogart) again.”
10. Julie P.
“Julie is amazing!! She is so sweet and accommodating and she took great care of my baby!”
11. Patti S.
“Patti is very nice and understanding. She genuinely likes dogs.”
12. Tetyana B.
“This was our first time using Rover, and we were beyond impressed!!! Tetyana was absolutely the BEST!! She was super amenable, and was able to pick-up and drop-off our sweet, little dachshund to and from our hotel while we were in town for a wedding. Our dog Wren loved her time with Tetyana and came home each night so happy! She was wonderful and attentive and sent photos throughout our dogs stay. We highly recommend Tetyana!!! Thank you so much!!!!! You made our weekend GREAT!! :)”
13. Christina S.
“Wow, I'm so fortunate to have connected with Christina! She accepted a very last minute request to take care of my pup for the afternoon and when my meeting ran late she offered to keep Finn overnight. We all have the stress of work and personal responsibilities so I was so grateful for her understanding and flexibility. I'm off on a business trip today and Finn will be staying with Christina and her family for two more nights. I can leave In good conscience knowing my baby is in good loving hands. Thank you again Christina!”
14. Ana Karen S.
“Ana has been great to our little guy and he seems to really enjoy her company as well! Have booked with her multiple times and have yet to be let down, definitely recommend!”
15. Kath E.
“I have a puppy who is 4 months old and she has little experience walking on a leash. When I met Kat I could tell she has a way with animals. She’s very patient and sweet. And within no time she was able to get my puppy comfortable on a leash. She treated my puppy like her own and now they are the best of friends! I highly recommend Kat!”
16. angie n.
“Angie is fantastic! She was very sweet to my dog. When I picked him up he seemed so happy. She also kept him in a very clean home environment as he is used to be in. I will definitely keep working with her.”
17. Rui C.
“Rui was amazing! We needed a last minute sitter for our 3 year old engergic Pitt Bull and he took such great care of her! He was a great communicator and sent us photos and updates! We will definitely be asking Rui in the future for care for our girl!”
18. Sierra C.
“We were referred toSierra by a friend who uses her a lot, for daycare and overnight boarding. We just used her for a day with our two dogs. She was great. Quick to reply about everything. She knelt down with the dogs and watched me go. She has a great set up - where you walk in a gated area to her front door. She was honest with us when she told us the puppy stuggled and whined. She texted photos and updates. We would use her again :)”
19. Mara S.
“Mara went above and beyond to not only make my pup Jefe comfortable but also made me feel comfortable by providing updates throughout the day. We couldn’t be happier.”
20. Lauren B.
“My dogs, Roxie and Madge had a great time with Lauren and got to know some other dogs too which they enjoyed. Lauren couldn't have been nicer and we can't wait to see her next time.”
